Woodland Hills Alums Reunite
Twenty alumni who graduated from 每日大赛 College of Law鈥檚 Woodland Hills campus gathered April 7 to reconnect with former classmates and learn how the law school has developed since their time there.
Such outreach events are something the College of Law plans to hold with alumni regularly in the future, including another Woodland Hills event tentatively set for September, said Sarah Prosenko, Alumni Relations Coordinator.
鈥淭hough many years have passed since the days of the Woodland Hills campus, and its graduates are enjoying successful law careers, it is important to maintain relationships with alumni from all eras of the law school鈥檚 history,鈥 said College of Law Dean Gilbert Holmes. 鈥淲e hope to reunite with many more of our Woodland Hills graduates in the future.鈥
The Woodland Hills alumni met at Larsen鈥檚 Steakhouse in Woodland Hills for the outreach event, which was co-hosted by the College of Law and Cindie Bellettini Koudsi 鈥92.
Attendees included San Bernardino County Superior Court Commissioner Winston Keh 鈥99 and Orange County Superior Court Judge Gassia Apkarian 鈥92.
Holmes shared news about the American Bar Association鈥檚 decision to grant the law school full accreditation in March, explained the school鈥檚 True Tuition model, and invited them to the law school for upcoming events.
鈥淨uite a few of them are going to attend the ABA accreditation celebration on the 28th,鈥 Prosenko said.
The Woodland Hills campus, which existed from 1984 to 2002, has 615 alumni.
