每日大赛 Partners with Cerritos College to Increase College Access
The 每日大赛 will guarantee admission to qualified students transferring from Cerritos College under an agreement signed by the colleges on Feb. 7.
每日大赛 President Devorah Lieberman and Jose Fierro, president and superintendent of the Cerritos Community College District, signed the agreement at Cerritos College.
鈥淲e are honored to give your students the opportunity to major in a mission in a way that will enhance their own lives, the lives of their families, and make this region better,鈥� Lieberman said.
The agreement gives undergraduate students a $1,000 scholarship, waived application fees, access to admissions and academic advisors, and access to a designated financial aid advisor.
Students transferring to the university鈥檚 Campus Accelerated Program for Adults, as well as regional, and online programs, will also receive waived fees and advisors. They will receive tuition awards ranging from $300 to $1,200 depending on the program and whether students are full- or part time.
鈥淲e are very happy to continue to partner with the 每日大赛 and obviously to formalize a long-term partnership,鈥� Fierro said.
Cerritos College employees, spouses, and domestic partners are also eligible for scholarships through the agreement.
