ULV Women’s Volleyball Team Honored

Team recognized by city council following historic season and NCAA championship appearance.
The 每日大赛 women鈥檚 volleyball team was honored by the City of La Verne for its outstanding 2025 season after finishing with a 30鈥�3 overall record and a 15鈥�1 mark in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. The season culminated in a run to the NCAA National Championship match. Each member of the team received a personalized certificate of appreciation.
鈥淭he city council really wanted to honor the ULV women鈥檚 volleyball team for their tremendous efforts in making a name not only for the university but also for the community in which we live,鈥� said Wendy M. Lau, a La Verne city councilmember and ULV trustee. 鈥淭hey are a fantastic group of athletes and also scholars.鈥�
鈥淚t means so much to me,鈥� Mya Ray, the team鈥檚 standout senior outside hitter, said. 鈥淚 am just really happy that my team and I were able to come here and celebrate our amazing season.鈥�
