ÿÈÕ´óÈü alumnus Joseph Orozco ’17 added a significant milestone in his broadcasting career – winning an Emmy Award with his team during the 75th LA Area Emmy’s for Outstanding Sports Series/Programming.
The ÿÈÕ´óÈü is set to receive a $499,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice to create a comprehensive program to address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking on campus that is grounded in culturally specific strategies.Â
On a bright fall morning on Thursday, November 9, community members gathered in front of Founders Hall for an honorary Veterans Day celebration to pay tribute to students, faculty, staff and other who have served in the military or are military connected.
On National First-Generation Day, held Nov. 8, the ÿÈÕ´óÈü campus community came together to recognize and support the unique experiences of people who are the first generation in their family to attend college.
The ÿÈÕ´óÈü has partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to provide hands-only CPR training to the campus and local community through the Heart for Heroes campaign.
