La Verne Law Team Wins at Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition

Two students from the ÿÈÕ´óÈü College of Law brought home awards from the western regional Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition, which was held online November 6. Miguel Caloca, JD ’21, and Herber Ramirez, JD ’20, represented the university at the competition and were coached by Dean McVay, adjunct professor and moot court competition advisor.

On November 11, the ÿÈÕ´óÈü celebrated Veterans Day with a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off the renovation of the newly renamed Sara and Michael Abraham Center for Veteran Student Success. To celebrate the start of construction safely amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the university hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on the central campus in La Verne and streamed it online for public viewing.
