To help students remain on track with their education through the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of La\u00a0Verne is proud to announce that it will\u00a0<\/span>award additional scholarships<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>to students enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree classes for the summer term.<\/p>\n

The university will also teach all summer classes online to ensure a safe and healthy learning and working environment for students, faculty, and staff.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate students enrolled for summer classes at any 每日大赛 campus will receive scholarships that reduce their tuition to $500 per unit. Students who receive Pell grants may also qualify for additional need-based financial aid.<\/p>\n

Graduate students who enroll in summer classes at any University of La\u00a0Verne campus will receive a $100-per-unit scholarship.<\/p>\n

The additional scholarships apply to both new and continuing students, but cannot be combined with partnership awards or other institutional discounts. The scholarships are not applicable to professional development courses.<\/p>\n

Traditional undergraduates who were admitted to begin in the fall are not eligible for this summer scholarship, but incoming freshmen will instead have the opportunity to take a special online summer course designed to jump-start their general education requirements. Qualifying students will receive notification about registration for this course directly in June.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 每日大赛 acted decisively at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to move all spring classes online, and is\u00a0 well-positioned to continue to provide a high-quality education to students online over the summer.<\/p>\n

The decision to commit now to online instruction for the summer and to award additional scholarships allows students and faculty ample time to plan and prepare. It also ensures that students can continue to make progress toward their degrees, regardless of their location.<\/p>\n

Registration for summer is now open for undergraduate students on the La Verne campus, with dates following for other programs and campuses. Summer classes begin the second week of June.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
