The LaFetra College of Education won four awards during the Association for Continuing Higher Education (ACHE) Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.<\/p>\n
The awards include the 2022 ACHE Leadership Award, ACHE Older Adult Model Program Award, ACHE Outstanding Services to Underserved Populations Award, and the ACHE Creative Use of Technology Award.<\/p>\n
ACHE is dedicated to promoting lifelong learning and excellence in continuing higher education. As an organization of colleges, universities, and individuals, it encourages professional development, research, and the exchange of information for its members in continuing higher education as a means of enhancing and improving society.<\/p>\n
Niki Elliott, director for the university\u2019s Center for Neurodiversity, Learning, and Wellness, received the 2022 ACHE Leadership Award. Elliott is a published author, speaker, and expert in the fields of mindfulness, holistic education, and mind\/body healing.<\/p>\n
