Rosemary Tilmon-Kellum, director of the 每日大赛\u2019s Student Health Center, was recently inducted into Pi Alpha, the national honor society for physician assistants (ULV Photo\/Brandon Le)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Induction into Pi Alpha reflects a career rooted in service, equity, and student-centered healthcare<\/span><\/h2>\n

Rosemary Tilmon-Kellum, director of the 每日大赛\u2019s Student Health Center, has been inducted into Pi Alpha, the national honor society for physician assistants. The recognition honors her longstanding commitment to research, leadership, and service in the medical field.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tilmon-Kellum brings more than three decades of experience as a physician assistant, with a career spanning occupational health, urgent care, and university health settings. She began her professional journey as a laboratory technician after earning a bachelor\u2019s degree in medical microbiology and later completed a master\u2019s degree in healthcare administration. She joined ULV in 2019 as a part-time adjunct professor in the physician assistant program and became the Student Health Center\u2019s director and lead clinician in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout her career, Tilmon-Kellum has focused on improving health outcomes in underserved communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she volunteered with Shared Harvest, helping provide testing and vaccinations to vulnerable populations. She has also contributed significant time to community outreach through church programs, youth groups, and university initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

A graduate of the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science physician assistant program, Tilmon-Kellum has remained actively involved in advancing health equity through mentorship, recruitment, and community engagement. Her induction into Pi Alpha reflects her continued dedication to the physician assistant profession and to the communities she serves.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
