The Office of the Registrar releases academic record transcripts in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). All transcripts produced are official documents, bear the Registrar\u2019s signature and university seal. All requests for transcripts sent via mail or in-person must be signed by the owner of the record. Students must clear holds on their records before the Office of the Registrar will process a request.<\/p>\n<p>Jump to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#fees\">Fees<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#fees\">Payment<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#deliverymethod\">Delivery Method &amp; Processing Time<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#attachments\">Attachments<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#unofficialtrans\">Unofficial Transcripts<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#transcripttips\">Helpful Tips<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><a id=\"htorder\"><\/a>How to Order<\/h3>\n<p>Official transcripts can be ordered in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Online through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentclearinghouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Student Clearinghouse<\/a>, which is the preferred and quickest way to order transcripts.<\/li>\n<li>In person at Woody Hall<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Orders for official transcripts will not be accepted by fax , phone, or email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before placing your order, we recommend you take the following steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Review your <a href=\"https:\/\/banssbstu-prod.laverne.edu:8143\/StudentSelfService\/ssb\/academicTranscript\">unofficial transcript<\/a>. <\/strong>All of the information contained on your official transcript is available to review on your unofficial transcript. Official transcripts are processed as-is at the time the order is placed, and by proceeding with your order, you confirm that you have reviewed the information on your unofficial transcript. This step is highly recommended for all students, but particularly those that have recently attended or are current students.\n<ol>\n<li>Students who attended prior to 1995 will not be able to access their unofficial transcripts online.\u00a0 Those students may request a copy of their unofficial transcript by contacting <a href=\"mailto:&#114;e&#103;&#64;&#108;a&#118;erne.&#101;&#100;u\">reg&#64;la&#118;&#101;rne.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Have your personal information, including your student ID number and\/or social security number at hand.<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li>Student ID or SSN is required to place an order. Estimated processing times are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PDF\/Electronic official transcripts: Emailed to recipient within 24 hours after the order is placed.<\/li>\n<li>In-Person paper official transcripts: Processed within 24 hours after the order is placed. If the official transcript is mailed to the recipient, it will be sent standard USPS, which can take an additional 5-10 business days.<\/li>\n<li>Mailed paper official transcripts: Processed within 3 business days after the order is placed. Your official transcript will then be sent standard USPS, which can take an additional 5-10 business days.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For students who attended the 每日大赛 prior to 1995, processing time may take longer to allow for record retrieval from an offsite facility.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">Top<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><a id=\"attachments\"><\/a>Attachments<\/h3>\n<p>If you have an attachment, we strongly urge you to place your order through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentclearinghouse.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Student Clearinghouse<\/a>, rather than by mail or in-person.<\/p>\n<p>The following documents may be added to official transcripts, subject to review by Registrar&#8217;s Office staff:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Official University documents or letters<\/li>\n<li>Cover sheets for internships (for CASPA, LSAT, et al).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Personal statements, resumes, writing samples, and other unofficial documents will not be accepted as attachments to official transcripts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">Top<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><a id=\"unofficialtrans\"><\/a>Unofficial Transcripts<\/h3>\n<p>Unofficial transcripts can be reviewed online by students who attended after 1995 using the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log into <a href=\"https:\/\/myportal.laverne.edu\/\">MyLaVerne Portal<\/a>. <strong>Organizational login is required.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click MyLaVerne under Quicklinks<\/li>\n<li>Click on Student Services &amp; Financial Aid tab<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/laverne.edu\/registrar\/unofficial1\/\" alt=\"UnofficialTranscript1\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click on View Unofficial Transcript\n<ol>\n<li>View your unofficial transcript to verify all information is correct. Anything on your unofficial transcript will print on your official.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/laverne.edu\/registrar\/unofficial2\/\" alt=\"UnofficialTranscript2\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Select All Levels and Unofficial.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/laverne.edu\/registrar\/unofficial3\/\" alt=\"UnofficialTranscript3\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you attended the 每日大赛 before 1995:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unofficial transcripts are only available for in person pick up, but <em><strong>must be requested by email before coming in person<\/strong> <\/em>as many transcripts from before 1995 are in an offsite building. It can take up to 5 business days to retrieve.<\/li>\n<li>Email your request to <a href=\"mailto:&#114;eg&#64;lav&#101;rne&#46;&#101;du\">r&#101;g&#64;la&#118;e&#114;&#110;e.ed&#117;<\/a>. Please include the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Name and any previous names<\/li>\n<li>Date of birth<\/li>\n<li>Last 4 of social<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">Top<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><a id=\"transcripttips\"><\/a>Helpful Information<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The 每日大赛 does not provide refunds for transcript orders. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at <a href=\"mailto:r&#101;&#103;&#64;la&#118;&#101;&#114;ne&#46;&#101;&#100;u\">reg&#64;la&#118;&#101;&#114;ne&#46;edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>All paper copies are mailed out using standard USPS mail.\u00a0 Typical delivery times are 5-10 business days, but may vary due to weather delays or holidays.
