Registration: Summer and Fall 2026

Academic advising begins MARCH 9, 2026.

Priority registration opens with seniors on APRIL 14, 2026.

Academic Advising Holds

ONE (1) month prior to Priority Registration, all traditional main campus undergraduates will see Academic Advising Holds on their records.

Once the academic advisor expires the hold, it will stay off for the rest of the add/drop season.

Known Issues in Student Holds & Registration

The Student Advising Profile sometimes displays the message 鈥淪ome holds are sensitive and may not be displayed.鈥� These 鈥渟ensitive holds鈥� come from financial processes like payment plans or direct deposit and do not block registration. They appear only because they occupy the same system space where registration holds are stored.

If you鈥檝e cleared the advising hold and no other actual hold is listed (for example, an Accounting Hold), you can ignore the message and let the student know they are free to register.

Quick Scenario: Why Your Registration Time Looks 鈥淥ff鈥�

A student thinks their registration time is wrong and reaches out to their academic advisor because they saw in MyDegree Tracker they have 74 semester hours of earned units (semester hours).

Advisor Action & Message: The advisor subtracts 17 semester hours of in-progress work for the current term and determines that the student has only earned 57 semester hours. The advisor responds, 鈥淵ou currently have 57 earned units, which places you in the April 21, 9:00 a.m. registration group (Spring 2026). Your 17 Spring 2026 units will bring you to 74 total, but registration is based only on earned units, not classes still in progress. It鈥檚 common to assume both should count, but in your case, your time slot is correct.鈥�

Military Student Priority Registration

Students who submit a valid military ID or receive VA benefits from the 每日大赛 are eligible for priority registration. Registration time ticketing for undergraduate students who attend the main campus is based on semester hours completed. Upon receipt of required documentation, the Office of the Registrar will adjust the students assigned registration time applying the following rules:

• Students assigned to enroll at any time on day 4/Freshman, are re-assigned to the 3PM time block on day 3.
• Students assigned to enroll at any time on day 3/Sophomores, are re-assigned to the 3PM time block on day 2.
• Students assigned to enroll at any time on day 2/Juniors, are re-assigned to the 3PM time block on day 1.
• Students assigned to day 1/Seniors, will remain in the assigned time block on day 1.
